Christian Comedienne Brenda O
Gospel Comedienne, Actress, and Storyteller Brenda O, was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She started comedy at Monique's Comedy Club, in 1992.
As they say in the business the rest in hysterical but for her it was spiritual.
Unaware that only the things that you do for Christ will last, she pursued avenues of self destruction and depression. So she didn't even know that she was in the wilderness.
God was calling Brenda O to minister humor to the "Body of Christ". At that time in her life she didn't have a relationship with the Lord and so she was unsure of her gift and her purpose. She could only identify with the earthly substances and the fleshes of life.

When she accepted Christ in her life in 1998, everything changed and she found Peace. That's when she realized that she was chosen to minister and it was purpose driven from the inside out. Her fowl mouth became cleansed and her seasoned gift became more pronounced. She experienced "true worship" and the "depth of praise".

Brenda O is requested often to minister humor or to speak at churches, corporations, youth rallies, organizations, women retreats, anniversaries birthday parties and the like. The spirit of God is over her and she delivers what he puts before her. Brenda O has ministered comedy to multitudes, to the saved and the unsaved. God uses her as a vessel to minister to the broken. Laughter Is Like Medicine. People need to see people just like her, being used by God.
Her testimony of her convictions, self-death, and salvation is one the whole world will receive. With humorous tones she flushes out the negativity of her once fowl mouth, worldly attitude, and content in not knowing Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
One of her more popular jokes is, As she prayed, "The Prayer of Jabez", "She asked God to widen her territory... and she gained twenty five pounds".
