Becky Wright Songs
Becky's song "While It is Day" made it to the DOVE First Ballot for "Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year" for GMA 2007. This Oklahoma Singer/songwriter was also selected with her song "Child of My Heart" for "The Spirit of Adoption" CD with STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN, Todd Agnew, Geoff Moore, Sandi Patty, Rita Springer, more (www.adoptivemusic.com). Two indie projects, plus June '06 album "No Denying" with Lamon Records. Many published songs and cuts by national & regional Christian & country artists. Recent single, "Child of My Heart: The Adoption Song", won the title "Duo of the Year" at the Agape Fest '06, and Wright is nominated for "Female Horizon Award" for 2007. Wright is a frequent worship leader, concert artist, & guest speaker.

Member of GMA since 1991, and CCMA (Christian Country Music Association) since 2001, who first published 24 of Wright's songs. Since the recording of 7 of them (by 4 artists and one video), she's since signed a new publishing deal with an Atlanta area publisher, and begun her own publishing company [Becky Wright Songs, ASCAP], beginning with Wright's first nation-wide release, "Child of My Heart". This "adoption song" is a compelling duet with Tommy Brandt, CCMA New Arist of the Year in 2004 and Agape Fest (TX) Male Vocalist for 2006. The duo was just named "Duo of the Year" at the Agape Fest in Texas (June 2006). Noted for powerful original songs, Wright is a frequent musical artist for the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative (OMI) Marriage Workshops, Oklahoma Dept. of Human Services "Adoption Celebrations", with her award-winning brand new release, "Child of My Heart", which has received rave reviews, including by Christian Music Weekly, debuting at #3 in Nov. '05 (Christian country chart). Although most of her writing and recording focus is in contemporary Christian and praise & worship, Wright has received numerous requests (by artists, publishers, and producers) for her country songs (Christian and mainstream), and currently has songs being considered by artists & producers working with Sony Nashville.
