New York, NY – March 10, 2005 – The Corinthian Group announced today the appointment of Alex MacDougall as new Executive Vice President/General Manager of Maranatha! and the promotion of Randy Alward to President of The Corinthian Group.
Alex MacDougall, a Christian music creative veteran, has worked in the music industry for 25 years. Prior to this new appointment, MacDougall was Vice-President of Special Projects for EMI Christian Music Group and General Manager of Vineyard Music. In the early 90’s, he developed the Grammy-Award winning A Cappella Kids, and was a creative team member for the WOW WORSHIP series. MacDougall states, “I am thrilled and extremely enthusiastic about my return to Maranatha!. I couldn't be happier and I'm anxious to help in creating the finest products and resources for the church."
Randy Alward, a veteran to not only the music business but also to The Corinthian Group, has worked in the industry for 12 years. Before this promotion, he served as Chief Operating Officer/General Manager of The Corinthian Group. Alward says, “I’ve been proud to be a part of the mission of Maranatha! over the last 10 years. I look forward to the future in this new role and leading The Corinthian Group/Maranatha! to serve the Church in worship.”
