Sound Decisions: A Survey of Christian Music Consumers in Christian Retail
NASHVILLE, Tenn. / COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - July 23, 2007 - Christian music continues to offer a critical opportunity for retailers who will take time to understand consumer needs, explains the new proprietary nationwide study, Sound Decisions: A Survey of Christian Music Consumers in Christian Retail, commissioned by the Christian Music Trade Association (CMTA) and CBA, the Association for Christian Retail.

The CMTA and CBA unveiled the final research report during the recent International Christian Retail Show in Atlanta. The Sound Decisions report, which helps Christian retailers understand their core music buyer and build overall business, is now available for sale to exclusively to Christian retailers and their suppliers through CBA.

Sound Decisions aims to answer the questions: Who are Christian and Gospel music buyers in Christian retail? What are their experiences and preferences? What attracts music buyers to Christian retail? The research contains Christian product purchasing intelligence and makes recommendations specific to Christian retail stores. The research was conducted in the last part of 2006 and early 2007 by Barna Research (a division of The Barna Group, Ltd.).
